Konec šolskega leta: nasveti za učenje

Kot toliko let poprej pomlad tudi letos počasi ampak vztrajno prehaja v poletje. Poleg zelenja in toplejših ter daljših dni ta čas s seboj prinaša tudi (grenko) misel na izpitno obdobje; na maturo, teste, kolokvije in izpite.

Včasih je težko pogledati kupu zapiskov in učbenikov v oči, težko je najti motivacijo za poglobljeno učenje. Takrat bi se vsakdo najraje skril nekam daleč od doma, šel k prijateljici na kavo ali organiziral filmski večer.

Tudi ustvarjalke Talite kum smo večinoma študentke in se v tem času srečujemo s podobnimi skrbmi. V tem prispevku smo zate zbrale nekaj kratkih nasvetov za lažje spopadanje z izpitnim obdobjem. Upamo, da ti bodo koristili!

Težko je začeti

Kadar imaš pred seboj kup dela, pa se ne znaš pripraviti do tega, da bi se umirila, usedla in pričela z učenjem, stori naslednje. Poglej si spodnji seznam in ugotovi, kaj te ovira pri tem, da bi začela z delom; nato si preberi nasvet, ki ti lahko pomaga! Na dnu članka boš našla še nekaj prijaznih opomnikov za lažje učenje.

Pogosti sprožilci odlašanja dela so:

  • perfekcionizem, 
  • pomanjkanje energije, 
  • preobremenjenost, 
  • zahtevno delo, 
  • dolgočasno delo in
  • moteči dejavniki.

Perfekcionizem

Spopadanje s perfekcionizmom postane precej lažje, če pred začetkom učenja ozavestiš naslednje: Vse svoje delo lahko obravnavaš kot grob osnutek. Ni potrebno, da je seminar, ki ga pišeš, že od samega začetka popoln – enako kvalitetno delo lahko napišeš tudi tako, da ga najprej osnuješ in nato naknadno urediš. Ko enkrat pričneš, je namreč lažje nadaljevati in dopolnjevati svoje delo. 

Mišljenje najprej moram opraviti najtežjo stvar, se za perfekcioniste pogosto izjalovi, saj imajo le-ti pogosto težave ravno z začetkom. Poskusi torej začeti z enostavnim opravilom, nato pa se loti težjih nalog.

Pomanjkanje energije

Pripravi si skodelico kave ali pravega čaja, umij svoj obraz z mrzlo vodo, privošči si kratek spanec, pripravi si kakšen prigrizek, odpravi se na sprehod in se naužij svežega zraka – možnosti je nešteto!

Kratek odmor je včasih ključen za to, da se boš počutila sveže; polna energije in pripravljena na delo. 

Preobremenjenost

Poskusi slediti naslednjim točkam.

Obseg dela, ki ga je potrebno opraviti, razdeli na dele. Če ugotoviš, da je dela preprosto preveč, da bi ga opravila v času, ki ga imaš na voljo, preveri, ali lahko vsaj kakšen del odložiš na kasnejši čas.

Nato napravi podroben seznam opravil. Pomembno je, da ničesar ne izpustiš! Če pišeš npr. seminarsko nalogo, razdeli pisanje na manjše kose – izdelava naslovne strani in kazala, pisanje uvoda, navajanje bibliografije … Tako boš dobila urejen in realen pregled nad svojimi nalogami. Ko veš, kaj moraš storiti, boš verjetno mirnejša – tvoja pot je začrtana, ti pa moraš zgolj slediti načrtu.

Produktivno delo spodbuja tudi urejeno, čisto in namenu primerno opremljeno okolje. Vzemi si čas in pripravi potrebne pripomočke: pisala, zvezek, izročke, prenosni računalnik in ostalo, kar ti pride prav in kar boš morda potrebovala. Stvari postavi na mizo ali v katero koli drugo okolje, kjer lahko udobno pričneš z delom. 

Globoko vdihni in začni. Me verjamemo vate!

Zahtevno delo

Če se ti zdi naloga pred teboj pretežka, da bi jo opravila takoj, je to najbrž posledica enega od naslednjih vzrokov:

  • dela je preveč in ne veš, kje začeti,
  • vsebina ti ni razumljiva ali
  • ne veš, kako se lotiti naloge.

Če te ovira prva točka na seznamu, se vrni k poglavju o preobremenjenosti – situacija je zelo podobna.

Če ne razumeš vsebine, poskusi o nejasnostih vprašati prijatelja ali učitelja/profesorja. Obrneš se lahko tudi k dodatnemu gradivu (razni učbeniki) ali pa poskusiš razlago najti na internetu.

Če nisi prepričana, kako bi se lotila naloge, in ne veš, kaj se od tebe pričakuje, se posvetuj z učiteljem ali profesorjem. Upoštevaj njegova navodila, usmeritve, predloge in ideje.

Dolgočasno delo

Včasih se znajdemo zakopani pod kupom ponavljajočega se ter nezahtevnega in dolgočasnega dela. Kadar se ti zgodi kaj takega, se spomni, zakaj se učiš in trudiš. Odgovor kot je Ker mi je učitelj/profesor naložil to delo, ne velja. Spomni se, zakaj si se odločila za svoj študij, kaj te pritegne v snovi, ki se jo učiš; spomni se kakšni so tvoji cilji in kako blagoslovljena si, da se imaš priložnost vsak dan naučiti nekaj novega.

Moteči dejavniki

Si ena tistih, ki jim vsaka malenkost zlahka odvrne pozornost? Brez skrbi, še zdaleč nisi edina. Vsakdo se kdaj vda skušnjavi in namesto učbeniku svojo pozornost posveča drugim stvarem. Najpomembneje je, da prepoznaš in priznaš, da si izgubila koncentracijo ter aktivno ukrepaš.

Če želiš ostati zbrana, moraš iz svojega okolja odpraviti vse možne skušnjave in moteče dejavnike – vse vire prekinitve koncentracije, kot so hrup, pametni telefoni ali celo slaba svetloba. Svoje okolje lahko namerno strukturiraš tako, da te usmerja k učenju in te ne spodbuja k temu, da bi gledala in poslušala druge stvari.

Opomniki

Pomembno je, da si hidrirana – ob učenju popij tudi kak kozarec vode.

Dolgotrajno sedenje in učenje je naporno – ne pozabi, da si zaslužiš odmor in da tvoje telo potrebuje tudi gibanje. 

Spomni se, da si že mnogokrat opravila stvari, ki so bile težke. Tudi tokrat ti lahko uspe.

Molitev pred učenjem

Vse je lažje z Njim, ki nam daje moč. Svoje skrbi in prošnje povezane z učenjem lahko izročiš Bogu v naslednji molitvi.

Gospod Jezus, preden se sklonim nad knjigo,
dvigam svoj pogled k tebi.
Rotim te, blagoslovi moje učenje,
naredi iz njega pomembno delo;
naj svoje napore združim z napori vsega sveta,
naj svoje delo povežem s težkimi skrbmi delavcev in kmetov,
naj ga zlijem v eno s pisanjem uradnikov,
z računi inženirjev,
s pregledi zdravnikov,
naj ga spojim z nenehnim delom naših mater,
naj ga vpletem v apostolska pota duhovnikov in misijonarjev,
naj ga zedinim s tvojim ponižnim delom v Nazaretu
in tvojo zadnjo žrtvijo na križu,
da bo tako študijska miza oltar,
moje učenje daritev
in da se bo moj napor dvignil k Bogu.
